Shoutouts are in order to my friend Marisa Lazar for recommending me to her agency, as well as (of course) the University of Illinois for creating such an amazing alumni network. In my very first conversation with Jaclyn, my new agent, I mentioned I was a proud graduate from the BFA program at U of I and she responded with an enthusiastic “me too!” We went on to bond over professors and classes we both took, and she sent me a contract the following week!
